Misti Dawn Nodurft, 41, of Libertyville, passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at her home.

To celebrate Misti's life there will be a gathering for family and friends from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020, at the Dew Drop in Libertyville.

Misti was born February 18, 1979, in Carthage, Missouri. She married Brett Alan Nodurft on August 18, 2005, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Misti worked for West Liberty Foods as a Biochemist for 17 years. She graduated from the University of Iowa and was a lifelong Hawkeye football fan. Misti lived in the Libertyville area for the last 12 years.

Misti loved going to concerts and traveling with her family and friends. Whether it was snowmobiling or watching her son play baseball, she had a way of making a day into an adventure. Her easy-going spirit was enviable and will be missed.

Misti will greatly be missed by her husband, Brett of Libertyville; two children, Landon Alan and Mackenzie Dawn Nodurft; her parents, Ed and Lori Garrett; one brother, Ryan Taylor; and two stepbrothers, Josh Garrett and Brian Garrett.

Misti was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Rogers.
