Monica Moffitt Clements
Monica Moffitt Clements, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at the New London Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she had resided since 1993.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton, with the Rev. Philip Cardenzana officiating. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery. Prayers for a Christian wake will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a family visitation. Wallace-Pence Funeral Home of Newton is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Meals on Wheels program in Newton.
