Muriel Joan Redlinger was born September 2, 1932 in Wellman, Iowa, the daughter of Art and Delphia (Taylor) Spears. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1949. On January 22, 1955 Joan was united in marriage to Ivan "Lindy" Redlinger in Kinross. They made their home in the Wellman community where they raised their family. Joan passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 86 years.

Joan is survived by her husband Ivan "Lindy" Redlinger of Wellman, a daughter Pam Redlinger of Wellman, 2 sons, Tony (Jean) Redlinger of Tiffin, Scott Redlinger of The Villages, Florida, 7 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Verneal Pence, Marrietta Augustine, and a brother Paul Karr.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 3, 2019, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman. Rev. Bill Roush will officiate. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. www.powellfuneralhomes.com
