Myra Lucile Crawford

      Myra Lucile Crawford, 91, of Kalona, formerly of Washington, died Saturday Jan. 7, 2006, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following complications from Alzheimer's.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Julie Poulsen and Ilene Schnicker officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8:30 this evening. A memorial has been established for United Methodist Church in Washington.

      Mrs. Crawford was born July 3, 1914, in Louisa County, to Samuel and Lola (Harrison) Turkington. She married Maurice Lee Crawford on March 3, 1939, in Louisa County. He preceded her in death in 1990.
