Myra Vivian VanNostrand Schroeder

    Myra Vivian VanNostrand Schroeder, 90, of Washington, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Halcyon House in Washington following a brief illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Faith Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. Harald Gruber officiating.  Burial will be at Wellman Cemetery in Wellman.  Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be directed to Coalition for Seniors and Community Services (CSCS), Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund, or the Washington Community School District.

    Mrs. Schroeder was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Washington, the daughter of Emmett Ross and Alma (Sowash) VanNostrand.  She married Charles Henry Schroeder on June 28, 1947, at her parents? home in Washington.
