Myrna (Sayers) Samms
IOWA CITY-Myrna (Sayers) Samms, 70, of Iowa City died on Friday, March 9, 2007, at the Windmill Manor Skilled Care Center in Coralville, following a long illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, with the Rev. Kenneth Kuntz officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Services in Iowa City, with a parish vigil at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Samms was born on April 29, 1936, in Laporte County, Ind., to Stanley and Evelyn (Lynch) Kauchak. She married Robert Sayers in 1957. She married Harry Samms in 1994.
