Myrtle Belle Carpenter
Myrtle Belle Carpenter, 78, Mt. Pleasant, died at 4:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Park Place Care Center.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. David Plooster officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been established to the Pioneer Club of First Baptist Church or the Southeast Iowa Crossroads Hospice.
