Myrtle Ione Gingerich
KALONA - Myrtle Ione Gingerich, 74, of Kalona died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following an extended illness.
Celebration of Life services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 in the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kalona with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday. Burial will be at a later date in the La Junta Cemetery in La Junta, Colo.
Mrs. Gingerich was born Jan. 17, 1933 in Elkhart, Kan., the daughter of James and Gertrude (Warner) Hamilton. She married Clayton Earl Gingerich on Dec. 25, 1971 in La Junta.
