Myrtle Peterson February 6, 1910 - April 3, 2004

Myrtle Peterson, 94, of Keokuk, died on Saturday, April 3, 2004, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7 at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with the Rev. Goldie Laymon officiating. Burial will be in Sandusky Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6 at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Harold Peterson of Keokuk, John Peterson of Warsaw, Ill., and Dan Peterson of Jefferson City, Mo.; and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
