N. Alliene Cutkomp November 2, 1918 - September 20, 2003

      N. Alliene Cutkomp, 84, of Wapello, died on Saturday morning, Sept. 20, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Wapello Rescue Unit and the Louisa Center Church Historical Project.

      Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Joyce Kerr of Morning Sun; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; five sisters, Janelle Buster and Beverly Stineman, both of Grandview; Mackie Krahl of Des Moines, Kay Wiele of Mt. Pleasant, and Barbara Hewitt of Morning Sun; and a brother, Danny Yakle of Wapello.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a sister and a brother.
