Nadine 'Sue' Schaefer, 72, of Kalona

KALONA - Nadine "Sue" Schaefer, 72, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at her home, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond, with the Rev. Ed Fitzpatrick and the Rev. Mark Swanson officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in rural Richmond. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Peterseim Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A Rosary service will be held at 3 p.m. and a prayer service will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Johnson County Hospice or the Newman Catholic Center.
