Nancy Helen Conaway

LONE TREE ? Nancy Helen Conaway, 68, of Dunnellon, Fla., formerly of Conesville, died Monday, July 6, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City following an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree with the Rev. Cindy Breed officiating.  Burial will be in the Conesville Cemetery at a later date.  Following the funeral service, a gathering will be held at the Riverside VFW.  Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mrs. Conaway was born Sept. 9, 1940, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of Emmel and Hilda (Kane) Browning.  She married Darrel Conaway in February 1958.  The couple later divorced.
