Nancy J. Miller, 68, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services have been held.

Nancy was born on Nov. 29, 1951, in Eaton Rapids, Mich., to Mel and Loretta (Fritz) Schneider. She grew up in Iowa, graduating from Washington High School in 1970. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in art and design from Iowa State University.

Nancy married Creighton Miller on June 2, 1973, in Washington, Iowa. She continued to work at ISU organizing conferences. In 1980 she moved to Aptos, Calif., and worked for Identronix Inc. She started Adaq, a software development company. She also traveled the country and did accounting installations for Innertrade Systems and training for the University of California- Santa Cruz. She moved to Sandpoint in 2003 with Possibilities DNA, and she also worked locally as the controller for Pure Health Solutions and later for Diedrich Roasters.

Nancy enjoyed sailing, reading, art, music, rocks and crystals.

She is survived by her many friends; son, Aragon Miller of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Lauren Ruby; two grandchildren, Stryder Miller and Aydin Ruby; brother, Steven Schneider and cousin, Janice Carr, both from Iowa; aunts and uncles, Irene Schneider, Vernita Schneider, Mary Ellen (Charles) Alberhasky, Winifred Fritz, Sylvester (Janet) Fritz and Cletus (Beverly) Fritz; and many cousins in Iowa.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Beth.
