Nancy K. Sleichter

      KALONA-Nancy K. Sleichter, 67, of rural Riverside, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services were held this morning at Kalona United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lynn Patrick and the Rev. Leslie Miller officiating. Burial was in South Sharon Cemetery in rural Riverside. Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Kalona United Methodist Church or Israel Family Hospice House of Ames.

      Mrs. Sleichter was born on May 25, 1938, in Fairfield, to Earl and Mary (Harryman) Loveless. She married Richard Sleichter on Sept. 18, 1960, in Washington.
