Neal Stafford

Neal Stafford, 51, of Crawfordsville, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a sudden illness.

His body has been cremated, and there will be no services. Memorial donations will be used for his children. The Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family.

Mr. Stafford was born Aug. 15, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Rex C. and JoAnn (Wagstaff) Stafford. He was married to Judith Sines.

He attended school in Las Vegas, Nevada, Oregon and California. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Ruger Underground for over 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising German shepherd-wolf hybrid dogs. He was happiest when he was spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Judith of Crawfordsville; five children, Tori Stafford of North English, Neal Adam of Crawfordsville, Andrea Ray Stafford of Crawfordsville, Sebastian Sines and wife Emma of Iowa City, and Christopher Mullis of Cedar Rapids; four siblings, Kurt Stafford and wife Joanne of Preston, Idaho, Marc Stafford and wife Susie of Reno, Nevada, Lisa Smith of Reno, Nevada, and Drue Stafford and wife Kena of Preston, Idaho; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Lynda Morris.
