Neale E. Longstreth

Neale Emery Longstreth, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Muscatine, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at Park Place Long-Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.

Visitation will be held until 9 p.m. today, Jan. 6, at the Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Herbert G. Shafer officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

Memorials have been established for Henry County Help to Others and the Park Place LTCU Activity Fund.

He was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Cranston, the son of Fred and Velma Townsley Longstreth. On Sept. 4, 1948, he married Betty Lamp in Davenport. After her death, on Nov. 1, 1952, he married Mary Miller in Muscatine.
