Ned Gingerich
KEOTA-Ned Gingerich, 82, of Keota, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at home, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held this morning at Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Frances Baumert officiating. Burial was in Keota Cemetery, with military rites accorded by the Richmond Am-Vets Post No. 107. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Gingerich was born on May 26, 1922, near Kalona, to Samuel "Jesse" and Lydia (Plank) Gingerich. On May 22, 1951, he married Rose Reiland Dawson in Kahoka, Mo.
