Nellie B. Meacham

      RICHLAND-Nellie B. Meacham, 96, of Richland died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Washington County Hospital in Washington.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, at Richland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Gates and the Rev. Wilbur Morfitt officiating. Burial will be in Clay Cemetery east of Richland. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland. The family will be present 6:30 to 8 Wednesday evening. Memorials have been established for Richland United Methodist Church or area first responders.

      Mrs. Meacham was born March 25, 1909, near Birmingham to H. Frank and Dollie A. (Schwartz) Hoffman. She married Laurence H. Meacham in Keosauqua on Aug. 19, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2000.
