Nellie O. Boese
MT. PLEASANT - Nellie O. Boese, 86, of Lockridge, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, of cancer, at her apartment in Wayland.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, at Lockridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Edward Newman officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for Hospice of Central Iowa.
Mrs. Boese was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Queen City, Mo., to Albert and Zelpha Dale (West) Gillaspie. On Sept. 11, 1940, she married Howard Eli Boese in Ottumwa.
