Nellie O. Boese

Nellie O. Boese, 86, of Wayland, formerly of Lockridge, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, from cancer, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, at the Lockridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Lockridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Ida Mae and her husband Elbert Leopard of Fountain Inn, S.C. and Delores Taylor of Morristown, Tenn.; a brother, Francis and his wife Louise Gillespie of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice and her husband Kenneth Hesser of Wayland.
