Nestora Gutierrez

      Nestora Gutierrez, 91, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2003.

      She had been cared for by the Presbyterian Hospice.

      The funeral service was held on July 10 at St. Anne Catholic Church. There was a Rosary recited and a Mass of Christian burial was celebrated. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Direct Funeral Services of Albuquerque, N.M., was in charge of arrangements.

      She was the daughter of Marcos Gutierrez and Maria Saiz of Manzano.

      Survivors include two daughters, Elma and her husband Santos Silva Jr. of Albuquerque, and Neva and her husband David Long of Mt. Pleasant; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, including Vivian and her husband Randy Baxter, Bonnie and her husband Rick Auwerda, Neva Irene Smith and Robert and his wife Vida Long, all of Iowa; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Flora Quintana.
