Neta Fowler

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Neta Fowler, 52, of Morning Sun, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, at United Methodist Church in Winfield, with the Rev. Greg Carr officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.

      Mrs. Fowler was born on March 23, 1952, in Washington, to Francis and Neomia (Hole) Butterbaugh. On July 3, 1970, she married Burton Gipple. He preceded her in death in 1990. On Oct. 17, 1992, she married Kevin L. Fowler in Winfield.
