Neta Francine Butterbaugh Fowler, 52, of Morning Sun, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at the Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at the United Methodist Church in Winfield, with Pastor Greg Carr of the Open Bible Church of Winfield officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society. Sympathy notes may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Bret and his wife Dana Gipple of Clarksville, Tenn., Jeff and his wife Missy Gipple of Columbus Junction, and Kevin Gipple of Wayland; eight grandchildren; a brother, Rodney Butterbaugh of Wellman; four sisters, Judy and her husband Bill Pfeiffer of New London, Trudy and her husband Clarence Workman of Bonaparte, Pam Canott of Washington, and Monica and her husband Tom Babcock of Solon; and a sister-in-law, Reene and her husband Bob Gott of New London.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; a brother, Richard; and a brother in infancy, Cary.
