Neva Riley
Neva Mae Riley, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Feb. 15, at Pleasant Manor Care Center.
Visitation began at noon today, February 18, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, with the Rev. Milo Van Veldhuizen officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 13, 1919, in Uniontown, Kan., the daughter of Howard and Glessie Molsbee Wobbe. On Jan. 9, 1937, she married George A. Riley in Hillsboro.
A graduate of Pleasant Lawn High School, she was a cook at the school for 34 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Hays and her husband Clark of Mt. Pleasant and Phyllis McGohan and her husband Richard of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Terry Riley of Mt. Pleasant and Ronald Riley and his wife Katie of Grinnell; her sister, Irene Kreiger of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and two nephews.
Her parents, husband, and son Howard Dean Riley preceded her in death.
