Nita Irene Stanford
Nita Irene Stanford, 80, of Leesburg, Ga., died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at Lee County Health Care, following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton, with the Rev. Brett Best officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family. Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stanford was born on Dec. 10, 1922, in Brighton, to Marc Davis and Jessie Crandall.
