Nolan Gale Stogdill

Nolan Gale Stogdill, 85, of Washington, formerly of Ainsworth and Crawfordsville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a lengthy illness.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 6, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with Craig Grothe officiating. Burial will be in Fern Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Fern Cliff Cemetery.

    Mr. Stogdill was born Sept. 14, 1923 near Chapel, Mo., the son of James M. and Noma G. (Veach) Stogdill. He married Cathalene Taylor on Sept. 5, 1946.
