Norbert J. Weber

      HARPER - Norbert J. Weber, 93, of Keota, formerly of Harper, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Maplewood Manor in Keota, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Cemeteries-Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Clear Creek Township with military rites by the Keota VFW Post No. 4716. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a wake service at 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County of St. Mary Catholic Church.

      Mr. Weber was born Sept. 26, 1915, in Hudson, the son of John B. and Caecilia (Peiffer) Weber. He married Helen Steinhauer in November 1948 in Climbing Hill.
