Norma Fern Knight

    Norma Fern Knight, 81, of Washington, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, in the Washington Care Center in Washington, following an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington.  Burial will be at Valley Cemetery in rural Washington County.  Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  A general memorial has been established.

    Mrs. Knight was born April 12, 1928, in Paris Valley, the daughter of Charles and Ethel Mae (Frank) Churchill.  She married Clyde O. Knight on Nov. 29, 1947, in Rock Island, Ill.
