Norma Maxine Hesseltine

      BRIGHTON-Norma Maxine Hesseltine, 75, formerly of Brighton, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Mrs. Hesseltine was born Oct. 11, 1928, near Germanville to Christ and Lydia (Kern) Pohren. She married Robert D. Hesseltine in Muscatine, Dec. 9, 1955.

      Funeral services will be held at Brighton United Church at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, with Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation will open at 3 p.m., Friday, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m., at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorials to Brighton United Church or Washington Care Center may be left at the funeral home, church, or may be mailed to the family at 1261 Hwy 61 Delmar, IA 52307.
