Norman Dean Meyer

Norman Dean Meyer, 87, of Wayland, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Darrell Zook officiating. A family graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the church, with family present from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials have been established to Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Parkview Retirement Home and Crooked Creek Christian Camp.

Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Meyer was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Trenton, the son of Benjamin C. Meyer and Maude Mae Wyse. He married Doris Jean Eigsti Nov. 22, 1945.
