Norman Jay Kauffman
KALONA - Norman Jay Kauffman, 19, of Kalona, died on Sunday, July 7, 2002, in a swimming accident at Palisades-Kepler State Park near Mt. Vernon.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Fairview Mennonite Church north of Kalona. Ministers in charge are Elvin Martin, Darwin Hostetler and Steve Schrock. Burial will be in Sharon Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Kalona. A general memorial fund has been established. Yoder - Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of arrangements.
