Norman Lee Unternahrer

      WAYLAND - Norman Lee Unternahrer, 62, of Wayland died Saturday, March 3, 2007 in the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8 in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday in the church where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.

      Mr. Unternahrer was born June 21, 1944 in Mount Pleasant, the son of Noah and Barbara (Wenger) Unternahrer. He married Irene Hortensia Mendez Cabo on June 7, 1969 in Montero, Bolivia.
