Norman Renaud

      KEOTA-Norman Renaud, 79, of Keota, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at United Church of Faith in Keota, with the Rev. Sallie Graves officiating. Burial with military rites accorded by Keota VFW Post No. 4716 will be at a later date in Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Memorials have been established for Washington County Humane Society or Wilson Memorial Library in Keota.

      Mr. Renaud was born May 28, 1926, in Pittsfield, Mass., to George Frank and Yvonne Marie (Lanoue) Renaud. He married Patricia Richardson in Mount Pleasant on Nov. 6, 1948.
