Nova Wesley Harper Jr.
Nova Wesley Harper Jr., 72, of Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the family receiving friends two hours prior to the service. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Harper was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Fairfield, the son of Nova Edward and Ethel (Hines) Harper. He married Sheila Rae Bruders on March 25, 1972 in Memphis, Mo.
