O.L. Garretson
O.L. Garretson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in Farmington, N.M. He was born on Feb. 24, 1912 on the family farm near Salem, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at 10 a.m. from the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant where Rev. Tom Palmer of the Salem Friends Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Salem South Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday at the Beatty Funeral Home, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials in his memory to the San Juan College Rotary Scholarship Fund, 4001 College Blvd., Farmington, N.M. 87402, Salem Friends Church or to the charity of the donors? choice.
