Oda Reed

      FAIRFIELD - Oda Reed, 82, of Fairfield, formerly of Ollie, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, in her home.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, in he St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Stephen C. Page and the Rev. Richard Adam officiating. Interment will be at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Clear Creek. A rosary will be given at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the church. A Scripture service will follow with the Rev. Stephen C. Page officiating, followed by a visitation. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Hospital or to the new Catholic Church. Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Reed was born July 30, 1926 on the family farm near Harper, the daughter of Peter J. and Pearl (Sondag) Adam. She married Eugene Reed on Nov. 6, 1945 in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper.
