Oda Reed

      Oda Reed, 82, of Fairfield and formerly of Ollie, died at home Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009.

      A rosary followed by a Scripture service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Visitation will follow the Scripture service.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Stephen Page and the Rev. Richard Adam officiating. Interment will be at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery at Clear Creek.

      Memorials may be made to Jefferson County Hospital or to the new Catholic church.

      Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Mrs. Reed was born July 30, 1926, on the family farm near Harper, the daughter of Peter J. and Pearl Sondag Adam. She married Eugene Reed Nov. 6, 1945, at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper.
