Olive Marie Mitchell

Olive Marie Mitchell, 93, of Washington, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following declining health.

      Funeral services will beheld at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 in he United Church of Crawfordsville with the Rev. Nancy Oehler Love officiating. Burial will be in the Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the United Church of Crawfordsville, United Presbyterian Home or to Amnesty Hospice.

      Mrs. Mitchell was born March 7, 1915, on a farm near Riverside, the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (Buchwalter) Herring. She married Max Mitchell on Aug. 27, 1931.
