Olivia Hedblade, 88, of Fairfield, Iowa, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Sunnybrook Living Care Center under the care of Compassus Hospice. Olivia was born on August 18, 1932, in Chicago, and was the daughter of Harry Reid and Florence Fielde. Olivia was a graduate of Cosmetology School and owner of Olivia's Coiffures, Aurora, Illinois.

Olivia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Hedblade; son, Geoffrey; and siblings: Norman, Arthur, Dorothy, Charles, Harriet and Shirley.

Olivia is survived by her daughters, Florence Morris-Young (Ron Pennycuff) of TN and Gladys Maggie Gordon of FL; son, Brett Hedblade of IL; three grandchildren, Amber, Sean and Cyrus; two great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Olivia greatly valued family and her church, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Olivia, an avid reader, enjoyed her hobbies of knitting and crocheting. She was a long-time member of T.O.P.'s serving in different official capacities.

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Fairfield, officiated by Fr. Nick Adam. Burial will immediately follow at McDowell Cemetery, Penn Twp., Fairfield, Jefferson County.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Mary's Catholic Church and the American Cancer Society of Iowa.
