olores Irene 'Dee' Heitmeier

      NEW LONDON-Dolores Irene "Dee" Heitmeier, 66, of New London, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at home.

      Memorial services will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, at 9 a.m., at New London Christian Church, with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be in Kilbourn Cemetery in Keosauqua. Visitation will be this evening, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to New London Rescue Unit, New London Christian Church, New London Food pantry, or Home Health Aid of henry County.

      Mrs. Heitmeier was born on Aug. 15, 1937, in Washington County, to John Lloyd Nelson Sr. and Mabel Irene Walker Nelson Edgerly. She married Benjamin Cole on Dec. 8, 1957, in Keosauqua.
