Omer Wesley Ropp
KALONA - Omer Wesley Ropp, 81, of Sarasota, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in Sarasota Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in the Kalona Mennonite Church in Kalona with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber and The Rev. Mick Murray officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.
Mr. Ropp was born July 4, 1926, in Kalona, the son of Lewis and Magdalena (Hershberger) Ropp. He married Pearl Hochstetler.
