Ona Maxine Kendrick

MARION ? Ona Maxine Kendrick, 88, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, in Murdock Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion with the Rev. Del Bear officiating. Burial will be in Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha.

    Mrs. Kendrick was born July 2, 1920, in Washington, the daughter of William and Vera (Hinkle) Morgan. She married Wayne Kendrick at the Little Brown Church in Nashua on June 17, 1939. He died Nov. 19, 2000.
