Opal Beatrice Goodwin
Opal Beatrice Goodwin, 93, of Washington, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a sudden illness.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at the First Assembly of God Church in Washington with the Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the First Assembly of God Church and Hospice of Washington County. The Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is in charge of the arrangements.
