Opal Hartley
Opal Hartley, 84, of Salem, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, at Salem Congregational Church with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Visitation will begin after noon on Thursday, Dec. 27 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Salem East Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Salem Fire Department and the Fellowship Cup.
