Opal Letitia Richards Maahs, 86, of Washington, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following complications from a fall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Brett Best officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation continues through this evening at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening. Memorials may be directed to Washington County Ambulance.
