Opal Yoder
KALONA - Opal Yoder, 87, of Kalona, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of Life services will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 6, at United Christian and Baptist Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials have been established for United Christian and Baptist Church or Kalona Historical Society.
Mrs. Yoder was born July 19, 1918, to Lewis and Jessie (Canott) Glider in Wellman. She married George W. Yoder in Nashua, June 26, 1941.
