Oriet Cortum
Oriet Elizabeth Cortum, 88, of Wayland, died following a brief illness Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at Parkview Home in Wayland.
The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. today at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with the Rev. John Gaulke officiating. Burial was in Wellman Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
Survivors include two sons, John Cortum of Mediapolis, and William Cortum of Kalona; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
