Orinda B. Boring

      Orinda B. Boring, 103, of rural Keosauqua, died at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Cantril Christian Church may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 20354 Highway 2, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mrs. Boring was born Dec. 16, 1903, in Cherry Box, Mo., the daughter of James and Cordie Alexander Cockrum. She married Everett P. Boring Dec. 24, 1922, in Edina, Mo. He died Dec. 4, 1979.
