Orion M. Huffer
Orion M. Huffer, 80, of Ames, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, at Beatty Funeral Home, in Washington, with the Rev. Randy Bobzien officiating. Burial will be in North Hill Cemetery, north of Wayland. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home, with family receiving friends from noon until service time. A memorial has been established for First Baptist Church in Marion.
Mr. Huffer was born March 28, 1925, in rural Fremont County to Raymond and Charlotte (DePuew) Huffer. He married Anna Mae Graber in Iowa City, on June 13, 1948.
