Orlee C. Hurley

      Orlee Clarinda Hurley, 97, of Greensboro N.C., and former resident of Ottumwa, died on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at the Evergreens Senior Health Center in Greensboro, N.C.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Dr. Edward Peterson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery in Ottumwa. Following graveside services, the family invites friends to join them at the Methodist church in Mt. Pleasant for a time of food and fellowship at 1 p.m.

      Mrs. Hurley was born on July 1, 1908, in Ottumwa, the daughter of James A. and Harriett C. Thompson Spilman.
